When you 'wake up' you are in transition and only have 24 hours to feed on human blood (animal blood is not enough to finish the transformation). If you don't, you die FOR REAL. Love the Matt appreciation! He always gets so much hate in the fandom and I've never understood why. Also, his piercing blue ๐๐ are so beautiful ๐ Elena's impersonation of Stefan is hilarious and spot on ๐คฃ Next episode is so good. It's getting so exciting!
