As my OC Rogan is inspired by Alex Rogen, the protagonist of The Last Starfighter, I wanted to include the movie poster in his bedroom; where the opening scene of Reality Check takes place.
Rather than copy and paste the movie poster from Google images, I wanted to draw it in my style. I love the film so much! It inspired Rogan, which inspired R-Kaid, which inspired me to make a comic for them! Iโm not saying Reality Check is based on the movie, not at all, I just mean, it created a snowball effect.
If youโre a fan of The Last Starfighter or just spacey, videogame themes in general, I highly recommend Armada by Ernest Cline; author of Ready Player One (which you should also read!).
I am so, so happy with how this turned out! I was hella worried I would DESTROY it, but I think I did pretty decent! ๐ณ๐๐
