I couldn't find the funny GIF though, but it's of a lady saying she tends to her grudges like they're flowers in her garden. ๐น
Forgiveness comes up as a theme in TFS. This series is intentionally rooted in tragedy, not just your Returning Visitor's backstory, but its characters and context.

Is The Grudge that Sarah Michelle Gellar movie with the murder demonic girl from The Ring or was I traumatized by something else so badly that I memory-holed it more than the Ring? Actually, only tell me if it isnโt a ring thing, yeah? Anyways, I mean, that all made sense, esp. Reese & James. My Beloved ๐ฆhas been pretty clear in demonstrating his begrudging ways so no one should be surprised by that. ๐๐ด๐๐๐๐ชโค๏ธโ๐ฅ Dean is kinda yippee-ki-yay Die Hard + Fight Club + Office Space on the grudge - forgiveness spectrum which means it all depends on context & a fuckton of in-my-head subtext spur of the moment shenanigans. This is why bad things often befall my MC. Poor Dean. Heโs lucky that Reese is a snarky hot BAMF with a fork. ๐คโค๏ธโ๐ฅ๐ด
