Entrance: Where we *really* are

So I spent the whole last two days replacing the lights in the scene, all the bulbs, and the sign, as well as the balloons. I changed all the bulbs and balloons to instances, which means the computer when rendering recognizes them as repeats and thus renders them faster. Even with that done, the render time is approximately 12 hours. I don't know what else I can try to reduce the time. It looks pretty much the same after all that work but I consider that a success.

I'm going to move on to the second part and get that up to speed first and put the entrance aside.

You could also turn down the transparency and reflections on the balloons. Could speed up the rendering, without being too noticeable.

Whole section. Ok I will do.

12 hours for one frame or the whole video? I think 12 hours for the entire sequence is fairly normal. Other things you can try are check render settings and make sure the graphics card/gpu is rendering every thing instead of the CPU
