I agree on the poly plates. They float too. If your in a wet state with a lot of water like Washington thatβs important as that ar500 plate setup at 18 LBs acts like a divers weight belt if you slip in a creek , river or lake. So no thanks.
Add to that as Metal here in Texas itβs conductive to heat as well and itβs gets awfully hot here.
