My dad was a surgeon. He never let me come to work with him to work on gall bladders and livers and stuff like that. Funny thing was that he was blown away that I could fix small engines and some automotive stuff. It was fun watching y'all work together. Thanks for the video.

Not afraid to tear something down and at least TRY to fix it! 50 years ago I worked in a country garage. And we rebuilt everything: starters, alternators, master cylinders, etc. Then that was the least expensive way.

2024-06-01 16:55:08 +0000 UTCThe compression vs combustion graph/diagrams you shared are the best explanation of that phenomenon/solution that I've seen. The animation of the mech fuel injection pump w/timing advance blew my mind. Very cool to see teardown of pump. Modern electronic systems are pretty fancy but there is something to be said about old mechanical solutions (mech engineer here so I'm very biased :)) Anyway, I dig the diagrams/animations, it is what keeps me coming back!
