Also the battery would be conveniently mounted underneath the engine so replacing it would require pulling the engine out. And it would be positive ground.

2023-09-05 00:41:45 +0000 UTCYes the 1845 C case is really a nice machine. Problem is everybody now wants heat and air conditioning, the hydraulic bucket latch so they don't have to get out of the machine and a warranty. That's why some of these loaders are $70,000.

2023-09-04 23:54:53 +0000 UTCWe were actually the Thomas dealer in 2001 in Omaha Nebraska. The loader arms were really stiff it was almost impossible to operate it. We put our best mechanic on it and he took everything apart and lubed it as it was brand new. We sent it back to Thomas and said we didn't want to be the dealer anymore. It's a nice machine if you can get anything to work. Wes I know you can fix it.

I had a marine Kubota once (nanni), for the starter you could either go to the tractor supply and buy a cup cadet xyz starter or to the car parts store and buy one for a '79 Toyota Corolla. The price difference was huge.

2023-09-04 01:07:19 +0000 UTCWe have a Thomas T133 at the mill, it's old but it's always gotten the job done, that said the engine is tired and needs to be replaced, fortunately you can get a Kubota authorized rebuilt engine for $6,000 Canadian so it will probably get a new engine in the future perhaps, in the meantime it's been replaced with a Case 430 and I'm pretty happy with that. Nothing against the Thomas shes a good machine too.
