Can an Old Backhoe ever be "Done"?

Can an Old Backhoe ever be "Done"?

They seen to be very reliable. They just leak. But it's 60 years old, so I can't be too hard on it.

No so lucky mechanic.

Getting there!

That old girl is hard to kill. Maybe I was lucky but never had a Perkins or a CAV to not be at least functional even after many thousands of hours.

Eddie Williamson

I think I have Stockholm Syndrome from working on it so much.

Plus it's in every movie...

That's how you know it has fuel in it.

And a chrome tip!

I'd like this content machine to go home honestly.

Watch Wes Work

It's blending in nicely with my rusty junk.

I think the EPA in the US has a minimum spill size that has to be reported. I should see size puddle that measures.

Watch Wes Work

I didn't recognize it.

Eric Corse

It'll be worth it!

Watch Wes Work

It's part of a meat grinder. A serious meat grinder.

Very lucky customer!

Jeff Chandler

Mint !

James Riordan

I feel that this backhoe is deserving of being called Samuel L. Jackson..... because it's one bad MF.

Brendan Hood

A British version, and it leaks? Shocking! That pump looks like my BSA 441.

Bill Scott

All it needs now is the Cherry Bomb sticker to go with that muffler

Tom Hollowell

10 points to Griffendor for the teaser.

CapnMac82

Good to see some success, to see a project move on to its next pending bit of "content" :)

CapnMac82

Well done. What is that substantial motor next to your desk.

Eric Corse

Your puddle measurement criteria would make for a nice graphic. Puddle with X dimension for diameter. If X has grown more than 2" in 24hrs, refer to section BCPLT (British Component Petroleum Leakage Troubleshooting). Otherwise sounds great for being at 6k hours. No runaway either, hooray!

Matt Londergan

Can a Backhoe be "done"? Yes. Had a yellow deer that looked all shiny and new. Mind, it was like that because it would break before even getting dirty. . . .

CapnMac82

More teasers. I'm beginning to think the best thing for that backhoe would be a nice, gentle, cleansing fire.....
