Added 2021-06-28 17:54:51 +0000 UTCSome more BTS deer hide photos! After skinning came defleshing, salting, a salt bath, drying and lots of waiting! I also learnt about the existence of deer keds, upon finding one on my head ๐ they're a sort of tick like creature that really cling to the hide and it's quite difficult to get them off. Any I missed would have been sorted out by the salt bath anyway though I thought! This was all such a learning process!
