Suggestions for next game

Hey peeps! So GOW Ragnarok has obviously come to a close and while I'm still knee deep in Walking Dead content, I do like to have at least 2 gameplays running at the same time. There are a lot of games to decide from as the list of things I apparently have never played keeps getting longer. Just from my personal list we have: Tomb Raider (the new ones), The Uncharted Series, The Spiderman series, Hades, and Plague Tale. If you have any more suggestions let me know and I can make a poll! Just a forewarning because this comes up often, anything from Rockstar Studios is likely a no. I've played a few Rockstar Games in the past and I've never been impressed with them outside RDR2. Outside of that, let me know your suggestions!

Funny you mentioned both of these games because they are the last 2 new games I played and I was in love with both of them

You may also enjoy The Outer Worlds!

I'm honestly suprised you haven't done the Spiderman series yet.

Oh modding it isn't hard, the modding scene for it is actually really active, New Vegas can look like a 2018 game without stressing your pc. Viva New Vegas has a perfect guide for it and easy to follow. Even if you play it on your off time you'll have a blast.

Uncharted Series

Conner Simpkins

Both of them would be great offline games because they both really reward diving into the lore (in the case of Outer Wilds, figuring out the lore is the real game)

Outer Wilds would be cool! Amber was telling me how much she loved it. Also didn't know Disco Elysium was so popular. I sincerely might have to knock that one out sooner rather then later

Outer wilds and disco Elysium!

Yes May 12

New Vegas is actually on the Twitch docket for sometime this year! If I ever figure out how to get mods running without stressing out my computer.

The first two are near the top of my list! I played Little Nightmares on my own before content creation and then played the sequel on Twitch a few months ago. Idk if that recording still exists as the audio was a little wacky. And Control is amazing. I was really surprised by how fun it was. If there is ever a sequel then I will absolutely make videos on it.

Isn't the sequel scheduled to come out?

Gotta play Horizon Forbidden West at some point. I played Zero Dawn during the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised by how good the story was. As for retro games, I'm open to it! It's not really my speed, but I could be convinced in the future.

Would love to play more Life is Strange! I played the first one years ago, but never the ones that came after that.

I know its a long shot but Fallout New Vegas is always a fun time. The world is really cool, the story is great, and the choices you make have hard consequences.

Might be a long shot but have you tried the Metal Gear franchise yet? If not, you could honestly start at Metal Gear Solid 5 and work backwards like you did with RDR2. IMO, 5 has some of the best gameplay mechanics video games can offer but its light on story a bit.

1. Plague Tale 2. Uncharted 3. Little Nightmares 4. Control. I hope you try all of them at some point.

Horizon Zero Dawn + Horizon Forbidden West series, also Jedi Fallen Order, and also Spec Ops The Line

I second “To the moon”, as Benjamin said. Quite short, but a beautiful must play classic! Would love to see you play it

Rasmus Martinsson

If you had a switch would be cool to see you play Breath of the Wild

Alexander Frangie

Do you do retro stuff? It’d be cool to see you take on something like Super Metroid or Super Mario RPG. If not, which I understand, Horizon Zero Dawn if you’ve not played that yet. I feel like you would really enjoy the lore

What Remains of Edith Finch is a really cool, short game. Just a couple of hours long. There is very little gameplay but i think the story is very interesting. I would definitely suggest it!

Disco Elysium!! It is the best RPG I have ever played and has a beautiful story and unique art-style. You can do just about anything in the game, and many of the choices and dialogues will leave you absolutely speechless. Definetely worth a look!

I'd suggest Life is Strange but it's another choice based game like Walking Dead so it's maybe one for the future instead of right now.

Jedi Fallen Order and The Wolf Among, since both have sequels coming soon. Dragon Age Origins would also be good as the next Dragon Age game is also due later this year.

I'd recommend Tales from the Borderlands! It received the fewest votes on your last poll but it isn't the most popular Telltale game in terms of units sold. On Steam it has 700k units (The Wolf Among Us 1.4m, The Walking Dead 3.9m). But it does have 95% positive reviews and it's my favourite Telltale game.

South Park: The Stick of Truth. (I dunno, I’m just reaching lol. I’d actually be super into Tomb Raider.)

I'm a big fan of the new Tomb Raider games. Also would be nice to see Horizon Forbidden West if you haven't played it already.

If you have X-Box, an oldie but an epic franchise is Dragon Age: Origins if you want to take a long medieval fantasy journey with an amazing storyline and RPG.

Between the Uncharted Series and Tomb Raider. Especially the 2nd Uncharted game would be amazing to see you play and get perspective on. The new tomb raider is cool to see the beginning of her origin story
