 Not only that, in the past she has; put razors, tacks BBs, and bugs into that spot. She has  eaten lit cigarettes and intentionally overdosed herself too. 

Why she does this is unknown, but she has asked viewers to stop showing their concern. Some have speculated that she just has a shocking fetish and she revels

 in shocking her viewers. Others think she's just stricken with the terminal and uncurable illness called 'Clout-Chasing Disease'.
