(which will be available this saturday)
Some people on Discord had the chance to read the script for the first pages of Chapter 04 of Secrets to Hell, the chapter dedicated to Cate, and that made me really excited to draw her π
πΆ In the story, when Cate was little, she attended a low-income school called Weβre all Heart π«Ά
This school had a rule: all students had to wear a heart-shaped hairstyle
(yep, even the teachers! β thatβs going to be fun to draw!)
(Obviously this wasnβt like this in real life, but these are just details to enrich the lore haha)
The whole school uniform references hearts, colors, and accessories, and as you can see, even though Cate graduated from that school years ago, she has kept some of those accessories out of habit into her adulthood.
πΆ I donβt know if youβve noticed, but over time Iβve been retouching my friendsβ designs, adapting them to their personal tastes and adding elements from their lives into their outfits. All with the idea of giving them distinctive details that make them easier to recognize and remember
