Plus the story is presented much better in the LN. Especially in regards to how the powers are acquired and explained and how the fights actually go. I love the manga and anime but as a piece of fiction the novels are levels above them tbh

Also Shionβs skill is very OP since it can harm Rimuru even though Shion wonβt do that itβs still possible to. I wonβt say more since Iβll just spoil it but a lot more things happen in the future. I wish we couldβve seen their discussions as in the novel when they eat a lot of stuff is mentioned that becomes important hopefully weβll see some of it in the next episode.
