Weretober Practice 2 - WereCypress (Moodity) 🐮🌕

Hey Guys! Hope everyone's Friday is going well! Here's the second practice piece for Weretober! I went with WereCypress for this one. 😌

For this one, I went about it a little differently. For one, I just stuck to using a slightly textured round brush for the entire piece. I think it forced me to leave more large blocky shapes in different areas, which helps with directing the eye to more detailed spots. Also I used a bit of perspective blur on the background to make it a bit more cohesive and directional, before then painting over it to exaggerate that motion even more (and not leave it to soft and blended-looking. Then finally just adding some directional brush strokes here an there over his body, to match with the motion of the bg.

I think I like this one a bit more, though it's definitely a lot looser and more painterly 😂 Let's see if I can try some other stuff before next Friday 😌👍
