Sleepy Hollow and then The Crow! Two of my Top 10 favorite films in a row! Big round of applause for whoever chose these. However The Crow appears to be blocked by Miramax? Crap. I would have expected the more high profile recent films to be blocked instead of an older classic. Very strange.

I'm imagining Cassie at a gathering of the Juggalos saying "I just don't understand any of this. I don't think I belong here".

Classic. You can see how much it inspired Nolan's Batman films

That thumbnail looks like the cover to a children's book called, "Cassie, The Reluctant Juggalo"

"accidentally loaded with a real bullet."
No. It was two different fake bullets.

Not sure if you are aware but the guy that played the Crow is Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son. He was killed while making this film. One of the guns used in a scene was accidentally loaded with a real bullet. There was a lot of back and forth on whether or not to finish the film but it was ultimately decided the Brandon would have wanted it finished. Very sad story to go along with a sad film.

The graphic novel The Crow is based on (of the same name) was very much a love story. He still comes back top avenge those who killed them, but it's much more a meditation on love and loss. It's haunting, really. The author wrote it after he lost his own fiance to violence. Very tragic origins. And then of course Brandon Lee (The Crow) died while filming this movie, so as a novel and as a film, tragedy surrounds this project.

The main 'bad guy' in the film is named Top Dollar. I don't think he's ever directly named in the film but that's the character name. He's played by character actor Michael Wincott who is mainly known for playing bad guys. He was Guy of Gisborne in ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES, he was Rochefort in the 1992 version of THE THREE MUSKETEERS, and he was Philo in STRANGE DAYS Most notably, he was Moxica in 1492: CONQUEST OF PARADISE, a pretty terrible Ridley Scott movie. Indeed, I remember reading a movie magazine at the time that THE CROW was entering production where James O'Barr suggested Wincott for the role of Top Dollar after seeing him in 1492. When they landed him, he was thrilled. You don't want to watch 1492 (seriously, it's not a good movie) but you do want to watch the footage of Wincott as Moxica in the various YouTube compilation videos. He's astounding in it. He always felt like one of those actors who was close to breaking through onto the A list but never quite got the right part. THE CROW was probably his biggest shot.
