"A Different Kind of Love"

You feel my heat and is eases the tense muscles of your back.
My voice, reminding you how special you are to me, calms the pressure made from the storm in your mind.
As your body eases, so does mine.
Our love does has never involved the removal of our clothes.
It never has and probably never will, but
it does require this:
Closeness.
Touch.
Silent kisses (because the sound irritates you).
Whispering you stories until you drift to sleep.
Holding your hand when you're scared.
You are overdue for so much love and tenderness.
I will spend my life fulfilling that debt so many others have yet to pay you.
This is a different kind of love.
But it's ours.
And I would trade nothing in the world for it.
